Youth Challenge Oxfordshire (YOCO)
FARINGDON group for young people aged 13-21. It's a great way to meet new people, learn new skills and take part in an exciting, life-changing opportunity.
Why YoCO? We will work with you over 18 months to help you develop confidence, resilience, team work and important life skills. Our exciting programme will include a UK residential weekend with outdoor adventures, workshops, skills based activities all leading up to a life-changing volunteering trip overseas.

Youth organisation for boys and girls 12 -18 yrs, If you want to aim higher, feel more confident and get a head start on your future join the Army Cadets.
Every year thousands of young people and adult volunteers join the Army Cadets for fun, friendship, action and adventure. If you're up for a challenge you'll go further with the Army Cadets.
We offer qualifications such as Duke Of Edinburgh, St John Ambulance, BTEC & CVQO.

The Club is for anyone with a disability between the ages of 11 and 25 years with the aim of providing a safe social environment for young people to meet and encourage the development of their independence, social and life skills.

Wantage Air Cadets Air Training Corp
Icknield Lane, Wantage
Since 1941 1861 Sqn, Air Training Corps has been providing teenagers from Faringdon, Shrivenham and Wantage with opportunities to learn to fly, gain aviation and BTEC qualifications, take part in the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, participate in adventure training, small and full bore shooting, fieldcraft and much more.

We are a coding club that gets young people writing their own apps and games in a fun environment. No experience required. Cost: free of charge. (All our mentors are STEM ambassadors and DBS checked by Oxford Science).

King Alfred Scout District is located in the County of Oxfordshire, and broadly covering the Vale of White Horse area.
There are a number of groups across the distrcit.
1st Faringdon Scouts for beavers, cubs & scout meetings

Rainbows Brownies and Guides White Horse Division
Set in the beautiful Vale of the White Horse surrounded by wonderful countryside including White Horse Hill and The Ridgeway and with Wantage being the birthplace of King Alfred the Great.
We are a thriving Division made up of 4 Districts – Faringdon, Grove, Tuckmill and Wantage. We have many Units covering all areas of Guiding – Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Senior Section and lots of wonderful Young Leaders and Leaders. We have 645 girls enjoying Girlguiding within the Division and 177 Volunteers ( this includes 36Young Leaders )running the Units.
We also have a very active Trefoil Guild who meet regularly. We are a close Division who often all get together with various activities. We offer many Stay Overs, Pack Holidays and Camps including frequent trips abroad.
