She will explain some of the key attributes of minerals which make desirable gemstones. By the end of the talk members will know more about gems than the local jewellery retailer. Helen will bring a selection of loose gemstones for members to handle; do bring your own gemstones for identification.
Visitors are required to pay an entrance fee of £1.50. Refreshments are available to everyone after the talk.
All members are required to ensure that they are vaccinated to the recommended level, and are in good health - for everyone's health.
