FARINGDON BRANCHES OUT - A Tree Planting campaign that everyone can join in.

TREES for FREE

Thank you to everyone who took an interest in Trees for Free 2022

All the trees we had available are now gone. We are sorry if you have been disappointed this time, but we hope you’ll feel you can continue with planting a tree/trees in your garden.

The bare-root planting season is over till next winter, but there are still saplings with small root-balls available. These can be planted any time in the coming months, so why not look at the Woodland Trust website:

https://shop.woodlandtrust.org.uk/garden-trees

They are offering trees for small gardens at very reasonable prices.

A single tree from the Woodland Trust costs about £20 - £8.95 for the tree and £9.95 for a cane and spiral guard.
It is even cheaper if you get a pack of four saplings (why not get together with some friends or neighbours to share a pack, and plant a wildlife corridor of trees in several neighbouring gardens?) - the cost per tree plus cane and spiral guard is then around £7.
There are no extra costs for postage.

Get a tree and enjoy it as it grows!
Let’s all help to make Faringdon a greener place.
