Town Green off Highworth Road
This 14 acre field, much used by local people for many and varied leisure purposes over more than 20 years, was under threat of being used for housing.
Thanks to the efforts of Local man, Rob Stuart and team, the field off the Highworth Road known as Humpty Hill was designated as a town green, ensuring continued access by the general public for recreational purposes.
