Little Coxwell is a picturesque village,
situated in the Vale of White Horse. In the centre there is a pub (The Eagle
Tavern), a 12th century church (St Mary's), a red phone box and a post box. The
village was originally part of Royal Berkshire but came within Oxfordshire when
the county boundaries were redrawn. The nearest market town is Faringdon, which
lies on the old coaching road between London and the West Country.
