This house in London Street was once two cottages - Thelma and the adjoining Farthing Cottage, (an 8ft wide 'infill' which had been crammed into the access to an area of outbuildings) They were condemned as unfit for habitation in the 1980s, as were a number of older cottages. They were united, thoroughly restored, modernised and extended. This is how the house looked in theyear 2000. |
