Public Toilets Southampton
Street These are cleaned and inspected four times daily.
Firstly when they are opened in early morning, followed by inspections at
mid morning, mid afternoon and then at closing.

Parks and Open Spaces Grounds maintenance of VWHDC

The Parks Unit is responsible
for the management, maintenance and enhancement of all parks, open spaces and
trees owned by the District Council. This includes formal parks, recreation
areas and play areas through to informal wildflower areas, a woodland and
closed churchyards
In addition VWHDC act as agents for Oxfordshire
County Council for the maintenance of roadside verges within the towns of
Abingdon, Wantage, Faringdon and Grove. This includes work on behalf of local
housing associations; in particular the Vale Housing Association for sheltered
housing and grouped accommodation. |
