Faringdon Chamber of Commerce

• is the only organisation dedicated to promoting the interests of the business community here and in the surrounding area
• aims to promote prosperity in both retail and industrial activities
• has members from both retail and industrial sectors, also some private individuals interested in the successful future of their town
• is active in a number of key areas and is "issue led" in topics of current importance to our members

It operates through quarterly general committee meetings to which all members are invited. At these meetings, members are actively invited to contribute on agenda items and can use the "Members Forum" time when any item of current concern can be discussed.

The Chamber also takes an energetic part in meetings of other organisations in the town, e.g. the Joint Environmental Trust, the Joint Economic Forum for Faringdon, the Traffic Advisory Committee, and the "Better Ways to School" Project.
