Our judge this year is Helen Kidd; poet, editor, and lecturer in creative writing

Helen's work is published in 3 collections and 2 pamphlets of poetry, several major anthologies and a host of literary magazines. She has been editor of three magazines and also the The Virago Book of Love Poetry. She reviews for a number of publications including Poetry Quarterly Review. Helen has extensive experience of running courses on Women's writing, postcolonial literature, children's fiction, modernism, theory and stylistics. In addition she has been involved with a number of community arts projects, festivals, touring companies and schools.

She is currently lecturer in creative writing at Ruskin College Oxford
