The Faringdon Online Poetry Competition The competition is in its third year. It started life in 2006 as a small local competition in conjunction with the community web site www.faringdon.org with 30 entries, and has expanded to 500+ entries, worldwide, in 2008. |

| The cover : Coloured Doves. Lord Berners, who
lived in Faringdon House from the 1930s until his death, was a true eccentric.
As well as building the entirely useless Folly Tower that dominates the town,
he was also in the habit of dyeing his flock of white doves in pastel colours,
