A group of Faringdon children will visit Le Mele (age 12+). If you are interested in hosting 1 or 2 French children and then your children returning to Le Mele then please do contact me as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for your children to improve their own French and make new friends. We are also looking for 2 Leaders aged 18+ to lead the group to Le Mele. All travel and accommodation will be paid for. Great experience for confident people who can speak French and want to develop their Leadership Skills. New Nordic walking taster sessions and
8 week course in Uffington GO Active (Get Oxfordshire Active) has recently been awarded funding from Fit as a Fiddle to develop Nordic Walking across Oxfordshire for adults aged over 50. Course details in Uffington: Taster sessions: Come and try out nordic walking to see if you like it and want to join the FREE 8 week course. Tuesday 21st July 2.30-4pm (Manor Road Memorial Park, Wantage) and Friday 24th July 10.30am-12pm (Faringdon Leisure Centre) 8 week course starting Friday 14 August - 2nd October 2.30-3.30pm. Uffington Jubilee Field and progressing to White Horse Hill area. Numbers limited so please book.
