Over the years that this event has taken place the Seadog Saunter has raised close to £40k towards the Lifeboats. The event has been exclusively responsible for raising the funds to place an inshore lifeboat D608 HELEN AND IN TYTLER on station at Sunderland during 2004, since which time she has assisted in the saving of 56 lives.
Saving lives for the RNLI is a continuous focus and so are ours in order to support our brave crews of men and women. Although so far from the sea there will still be occasions when we may need their help
