The longer route is a wonderful 12 miles - and the shorter route is a glorious 7. Both involve the possibility of stopping off at Step Farm for one of Daphne's world-famous ECOBUTTIES (doesn't that picture make your mouth water?) - served with a mug of frothy fairtrade coffee. You then end up at the Wind Farm Open day - with the possibility of taking part in the World Record Attempt. Getting back on foot would involve another seven miles if you went via Longcot & Fernham - or another option would be to return the way you came. All ages an abilities welcome. Bicycle needs to be suitable for good Bridleway (racing bikes are probably not appropriate). Have a look at www.ecoweek.info/Community/ECOBIKES/ecobikes.html |
