In January this year the PCT joined forces with Age Concern Oxfordshire and Oxfordshire County Council to hold a public meeting and taster walk to assess the level of interest in starting up a Health Walk scheme in the town.
Through tireless local publicity and the engagement of some fantastically generous volunteers the scheme is now up and running with a weekly turn out of over 30 people from all age groups

The Vale of White Horse District Council's Local Services Point in Wantage is changing its opening hours.
From 1 April the offices in Grove Street will no longer open on Saturdays following a reduction in visitors. Weekday opening times remain unchanged from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Cllr Jim Moley will now host his surgery on the second Monday of every month from 10am to 10.30am.

Up to 28 aircraft an hour will be allowed to fly over one of the quietest and most attractive areas of Oxfordshire.
