FO 2007 Poetry Competition



FO 2007 Poetry Competition Rules

Poems may be on any subject


Poems must not exceed 40 lines, (not including the title)
The closing date of the competition is Friday September 21st
Poems must be given a title.
You can send as many poems as you like, each poem will be judged separately.
There will be a prize of £25 for the best poem. (see below)
There will be a prize of £25 for the poem judged most popular by online poll.
There will be a prize of £25 for a poem chosen by Jim Horton
Each poem must be accompanied by a valid name and address - preferably email
Poems will be published anonymously on the web site after the closing date for entries
(Friday September 21st)
Winners will be notified not later than Sunday October 21st


Professor C C Norris, Cardiff University, has very kindly agreed to be our judge this year.
