The Sensible Folly - a Faringdon fantasy...
A quirky short story for all ages
by Paul Cornell, novelist and writer of three Doctor Who episodes.
The
Folly Tower is 75 years old. How does it feel to be so high on the hill?
How does it feel about the other high buildings and towers around it, and
the people who climb inside it? Does it want to be useful or useless?
Who are the little temporary things?
£2.50
Available from Faringdon Tourist Information Centre, the White Horse
bookshop, Marlborough St. and the Folly Tower.
All proceeds go
to the Folly Tower Trust (charity no 284795).
